App Concept and Specification
We discuss the app concepts and requirements. This is the stage at which all of the initial requirements are mapped out and the core concepts behind the app are planned.
Storyboards and Screen Mock-up's
App storyboards are generated to show how your customers would use your mobile app and how each screen would appear to the users.
App Build
At this stage the storyboards are built using the framework for your selected mobile platform and the graphic and text elements are added. If the app is to use news or data feeds from your own website, these will need to be added at this stage.
App Testing
Mobile app testing, for Android apps, we can send you pre-release development builds which can easily be installed to your own Android smartphones and tablets for testing. For iOS we can either demonstrate the application in person or send you video screen casts of the apps use with split screen views of the application screen and video of one of our team using the application so you can see how the app responds to touch screen use.
Sign off and Launch
App sign off, once your mobile app has been finalised it would be submitted to the appropriate mobile App Store with all the correct logos, screen shots and your marketing materials.
For Apple iOS applications for iPad, iPod Touch and iPhones this process can take 2 to 3 weeks while Apple approve your application.
The Android Market allows the addition of new applications without any delays or third party approval, because of this your application can be available for your customers to download and use on the same day.
